Join us for the Big Open Day

13 January 2010
Join us for the day on 13th February 2010, from 10am till 4pm, as we open the Church for the day. There will things to do, and see, and touch, and hear, and eat both in the Church and the Millennium Centre. We’ll be giving you a window into some of the many things the Church does in a week.
Come along and find out about your family history, see some of the valuable artefacts we have, go up the tower, find out what we do for children and young people, and more. Click on the picture for more information.

I’m a Nemo – Get me out of here!

1 February 2010
Sometimes it takes real guts to be a Nemo, and on a cold Sunday evening members of Nemos showed what they were made of by taking on 9 different challeneges in “I’m a Nemo – get me out of here!” They delved through disgusting mush, plunges into plates of worms, and even ate testicles!!!! See the proof here.

Monopoly – Nemos style

31 January 2010
This half-term the nemos will be playing a giant game of monopoly based in London itself! Working in teams, they’ll have 4 hours to visit as many properties on the monopoly board as they can. Who can make their way to Park Lane before they head across to Old Kent Road! If you want come and play, download a letter here and return it to Owen asap.

Love AngelSpace 2010

20 January 2010
Fight for this ….? :: Where is the ….? :: Everybody in ….?
AngelSpace is back for 2010 and this year we’re going to be thinking about LOVE. We’ve got 4 events planned throughout the year, and we’re going to be using workshops, worship, teaching, and more to unpack who we’re called to love, and what that REALLY means. For those who’ve been before, we’ve planned some changes to AngelSpace, so watch this space. Click after the break for more info!

Nemos in the Snow

10 January 2010
Anxious to make the most of the Snow whilst we had it, the Nemos ventured out to the Rec to take full advantage of the weather. Although they normally all get along very well, for just an hour or so, everyone was a target, and some were very good shots! You can see the photos we took here. If you need the password, get in touch with us.

Epiphany

6 January 2010
Today is epiphany – a festival of the church year that’s often forgotten. Today we remember the Wise Men as they realised who the Baby Jesus was – a moment of great truth! Have you had an epiphany?!
